Description

Well, with my new iPad I bought a few months ago, I downloaded this program called Clip Studio and used it for a few school projects in animation. And now with the semester over, and me remembering I’m majoring in Digital Arts, I might as well get some more practice out of using this app through digital drawing. And what better practice than to draw (probably) my most famous OC, the Deviloid himself, Lord Ghastler!

I tried watching a few tutorials on Lineart, Coloring, lighting, and shading, and putting what they taught me into practice.

This took me a few days to make, and a few hours to finish up today, and for my first true piece of practice with digital drawing, I think it looks alright. There is probably a million more things I want to try to do, but I should start with baby steps. Even with the past attempts of making digital drawing, I feel like this is the first major piece of practice.

For the love of me, the one part of Ghastler I cannot get correct is his arms, especially with foreshortening and perspective when he holds them out like this. Anyways, I hope you like it overall, and let me know if you wish to see more digital art from me.
