Hey everyone! This is my submission for the "Give the Gift of Art Challenge"

This is a very personal artwork I would give to the special persons in my life: My girlfriend and my family.

It's the inner power of creativity which drives me and every other artist. The obsession to create something even if the world around you is cold and harsh.

Everytime I can draw or paint something no matter what it is, I feel happy. Words can't really catch what this feeling really is. That's why I love to create paintings. Like music, artworks convey feelings, nuances that no word can describe.
When I painted this picture I had the feeling of peace and calm. I didn't want do create something epic and mindblowing but rather something calm, peaceful and with deeper meanings. Because these are the feelings I connect with creativity. Yes, sometimes it's like a storm in my mind but most of the time it's calm... like this artwork.

Creativity warms you from the inside, makes you see beauty in everything and frees you.
It connects you with everything around you no matter what it is!

That's what I think about art and creativity and that's why I wanted to give it to my loved ones. But actually it's a gift for everyone! It enlightens your life so much, and makes it so much more worth to live!

Well... that were only my thoughts about this whole topic.

For this artwork I used Photoshop CS6 and my trusty old wacom bamboo.
Took me around 15 h, obviously all from imagination no photo textures used.
