It's strange that the Phantom Zone criminals didn't appear in Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?. Since they were among the most recurring enemies. And the Phantom Zone projector has a pivotal role in the story.This would have also been their last hurrah, since the reboot with John Byrne's The Man of Steel led to the rule where Superman is the only surviving Kryptonian in the Post-Crisis universe.
