I drew this character about a half year ago to be used in my website. However for various reasons, I ended up not doing the pages and this character was left unused. Now I felt that it might be fun to add some background to the picture, and see what I could do with it. Overall IΒ΄m quite happy about this, although I am aware that some areas of the background could use some polishing or could be colored a bit differently. However this is not the sort of picture I want to spend any more time with, so a bit sketchy look will have to do.Related content

The idea of the background is pretty cool... the character is lovely, but she has a little something that gives me the creeps

Your imagination is vast. o_o That's all I can really say. And I agree with the commenter above - the details are absolutely astounding! Refresh my memory, are you an art student of some kind?
Oh, but there's one thing I'd mention about - the very far end of the picture (across the water) in my humble opinion should have a slightly hazier shade, because it's in the distance. Now it's kinda surreal - but then again, maybe that was what you were looking for?

I study grafic desiging nowadays, started this autumn. And you are right about that background, I didΒ΄t come nearly the way I wanted it to, but then I did rush it a bit. Well, you live and learn
