Stopping in the middle of the road, she looks back with regret... but there's nothing back there for her anymore. It's over. She has to let go, has to move on.
I didn't mean for this to be, but it kind of turned into a vent art of sorts XD Been having a lot going on lately and this is about how I feel

Took quite a while to make, but it was worth it haha. Never made a finished drawing with anything mechanical like this, it was quite refreshing and I learned a lot! ^^
I will probably end up doing more futuristic stuff someday, but I still like to draw my medieval anthros more XD

Truly a beautiful piece! There is so much detail in that hoverbike! I love it!
What I especially love about this picture is the composition, and that the picture is very elongated, leaving so much empty space beside the character, not sure if intentional, but the fact all that empty space is in front of her and not behind her makes me feel like she truly leaving behind all that's behind her, after all the picture is more focused on what's ahead instead of what was behind her; and since what's ahead is wide open space.. it kinda gives a sense of freedom and that anything could be ahead of her. In that sense it is a very happy picture.. and since you mentioned this was sort of vent art for you, I am hoping drawing this helped you feel better! 
I also think that small gaze is just enough to give away that she is in fact leaving something behind instead of just travelling in the picture. It also gives away that it is not exactly easy to just leave, and that she cares about what ever she is leaving behind her.
The fact she is carrying so much stuff with her gives even more of a story for this picture (I love the fact she is carrying a guitar with her!
