Description It's been a while since I've drawn a proper Link picture. Plus I've always wanted to draw the Dark Link from SSBB. I had to change his appearance though, otherwise it'll just look like Link vs one big dark blob :-/

Glad to see positive feedback - I was a bit worried about the black smoke effect (never drawn smoke before)

THIS DRAWING RECENTLY GOT STOLEN! To the offender: I have reduced my usual watermark here for everyone's benefit, and did not expect to be taken advantaged of in that way. Very unimpressed. Watermark has now been amended.

I nearly cried when I killed Dark Link in the game... Just because he's link's shadow doesn't mean he's not human. THAT DOESN'T MEAN LINK'S MORE AWESOMER THAN HIM!!! For some reason I always like the dark characters. Well, I'm pretty much dark myself so... meh. /end rant

I could never draw as good as you. PS seems to hate me these days. -.-

I seem to like the villains too because they're just more fun and a lot more complex than the good guys, who seem to be generic most of the times.

Everyone starts somewhere and I've been drawing for yeeeaaars XD Only started teaching myself PS about 2 years ago... Just keep practicing and don't give up! All the best

For some reason, it's very stereotypical these days for the good guys to be all... Kind and a bit dumb... While their dark side is at least ten times more powerful... -_-

Photoshop is one of the best programs, but there are others like SAI etc though I don't have any experience with those ^^"

Yep. I have tested SAI, but I think it's little confusing... So I started to use GIMP. And Photoshop demo version.. But it's only 30 days long :/

Maybe you can get the student version of Photoshop that's cheaper? I highly recommend it and it's what a lot of the professionals use. Either way, all the best with your art!
