The individual pictures were done at 4x the displayed proportions (or 16x depending on how you measure it) so it needs a full view to appreciate the details

second one in the series, personally I prefer it much more than the first.

artistic musings

1. I know the windows and cutains seem to be made of sand, but hey, it's a desert, why not? I especially liked the clouds in this one. Note the many armstrong-esque pink sparklies

2. pannel 2 is meant to be a bit of a spoof of that one in the first volume of the manga (the one where the soldiers go, "but he's just a kid/unarmed" and ed transmutes mis arm into a big jagged knife) sorry if you can't read the font in pannel 2, it says "BEHOLD THE POWER OF PLASTIC". I was going to have a mastercard instead of a visa, but a visa has such a simple design. Ed was meants to say, "oh dear lord ... I've created a monster ... again" but it didn't quite fit on the page

3. It was so difficult to try and find a good reference image for the symbol on Roy's glove. I think I might do Hawkeye's speech bubble again, it's really messy. I hope Ed has a good excuse to get out of this one...
