Description
This is the male lion at the Akron Zoo; I believe I heard the keeper tell a family that he's successfully bred with the female, which may be exciting if the Akron Zoo has a litter of lions! In this instance, the children seemed to interest him--though whether it's as just an idle curiosity or if they looked tasty, I'm sure we'll never know.
I'm very pleased with the focus and detail I managed to get on this shot!

He really is beautiful!!! Though I admit being more partial to cheetahs, I still think lions are so majestic looking.

I just went to the zoo this morning (and it was cooooold!) but the cheetahs there were talking to me, it was really cute and reminded me of our cats. LOL

Oh dear, YES. Especially Butters, he has an opinion about everything. The doors are all closed, he wants to play, I'm chopping up garlic and he's really upset about it (that is the funniest danged thing too). VERY vocal cat you'd think he was Siamese! Loki only gets whiny when he wants up because he's cold and laps and laptops are way warmer.

My cats don't talk to me... One does but only when she wants food or a cuddle... ¬_¬ She's addicted to cuddles! Px
