Description Taken at the Akron Zoo - Akron, OH

Another photo of the jaguar cub LeBron, born March 3, 2009 and who is all grown up now! The zookeepers told me as I stood there stunned that he is bigger than his father, Chock, and just watching him prowl around the exhibit, he took on his father's tendencies.

Pretty soon we'll no longer have LeBron (well both of them I suppose!) as he will be transferring down to the Brevard Zoo in Florida to meet up with his mate Masaya. We will miss him for sure, but I know everyone in Akron is excited and proud to have had this beautiful animal born here to help continue the lineage of the jaguar species.

OMG THIS SO ROX!!!!

Actually, this is my favourite of the jaguar pics you uploaded (not saying the rest isn't fabulous). I love his expression and the lighting. He is so gorgeous and you did a wonderful job capturing him.
I'm not far from Florida. Maybe one day I can go see him!

That made me laugh!! But thanks for the feature!!! I hope you'll get to see our big lug because he's an absolute goof and I hope he doesn't grow out of that as he gets older.

Conversely I hope that something goes well for your neighbor, after everything she's been through to have to go through this BS with the foreclosure and jackass getting her out of the house with no sympathy, she doesn't deserve any of it. She'll be in my thoughts and prayers that something turns out well for her very soon.

You're so very welcome! I'm also doing a "watcher feature" in my next journal, so if you want to partake in that I'd love it! If you have the time, pick out one pic you want to be featured and I will pick out the other one.

Thank you for your kind words about Pam. She is such an awesome person, it makes me so sad to see her go through all she has in the past few years. And now this! She needs all the positive thinking she can get. Tomorrow we are going to research and see if we can find some answers. Hopefully we will be able to find her an attorney.

Taryn, there is NO way on earth I would ever critique your work! However, I must say how fabulous a shot this is! Man, he looks really fierce in this! His eyes just pop! I'm sorry that you're losing your boy! That will be tough!

Btw, did you see or hear that Wolf Park has 4 puppies?

LOL I am definitely open to critiques though, how can I improve if people can't show me where I could better it? Of course I do see that most critiques are used to say how much they like the photo...ah well.

He does look fierce and yet all it was, was the little boy just giving a tiny mew before he took the stick in his mouth and started walking around with it.

Ah, I see the stick now...I missed that! I guess I was focusing on his eyes! Little bad boy!
