Note: I kept this to minimum editing. Softened some tones, brought out some warmer, & contemplated taking out the lens flare, but it turns out that I like it better with.

What I thought when I sought after this shot...

Harder. Faster. One more step forward. It's dark where I've drug myself from, but the sun is showing brought up beyond the ground. It's difficult & every muscle in my body is aching. There's cuts across my flesh & blood dried over inches of my hands from each clawing motion I've endured to climb out of this hole. This abyss. The voice inside my head begins to doubt, crying soft, "I can't!" pleads in the back of my mind. But I know I can, I've come this far. I know I can make it out of the harsh cold cruelty that this world sometimes has to offer. The sun shines just beyond that last hill & though it hurts, I just have to make it through...

Our journey to success. Success is any form of achieving that which we reach for. Whether it be career wise, materialistic, or even emotional distress such as depression or mourning.
