Tootie found Veronica in her pathetic state and, after hearing her story, feels pity, as she once obsessed over Timmy Turner, and how she was also rejected and heartbroken in her childhood. So, she and Chloe decide to fix her up and give her a self-esteem boost."I can hardly remember... the last time I looked at a mirror and thought, 'Hey, I really like what I see here!'"

Veronica is quite overlooked, myself included. With my affinity to Tootie, I tend not to pay attention to her plight. I'm glad Tootie reached out to her.
I don't really care for Timmy and his romantic liaisons as much as seeing the girls bond over having the same unrequited love and lack of support.
