Sigh...

I have a lot of explaining, don't I?

Okay. First off, Megababies was NOT a part of my childhood. And neither was Ren and Stimpy for that matter, but who could blame me? All I got was Cow and Chicken (with Weasel on the side)! I only heard of it back at 2014 and stumbled upon it last year when it was featured in a "Top 10 Worst Cartoons" video. Unfortunately, I suffer from a bad case of "Bile Fascination" syndrome and sought to one day get a hold of the characters, reboot them and make them a bit more palatable... or just create the concept in my head and share it with you guys.

Okay, on with the matter at hand. The Tremblays are gonna reboot "Swat Kats", right? What if they rebooted this? Well, a lot of things might change if they had more creative control. What if I rebooted it? Well, first, the production could take place in America instead of Canada. Then, I would change the voice actors as so:

MEG (PINK) - Either Cree Summer or Tara Strong
BUCK (BLUE) - Either Rob Paulsen or Tom Kenny
DERRICK (YELLOW) - Charlie Adler.

Then, the comedy style, while still having gross-out, would not be as shoe-horned as before, and would contain a bit more "Animaniacs"-style humour, with the babies actively screwing around with their enemies for fun. Also, there are times that they could actually take things seriously...

As for the art-style, depending on whether it will be in-house or exported for animation, the characters(at least the babies) would have three animation models each. Meg is sporting the one that could feature in more restrained, serious times (or the parody thereof), Derrick sports the comedic drawing style which calls back to the original Megababies, and Buck sports the middle-ground model, which is for wacky, but balanced. Their noses still constantly remain the same, though.

And the theme song, as a nod to Swat Kats, would be a semi-slow metal cover of "Go to Sleep" or "Rock a Bye Baby".
