GOGOGO
I really like most of these! Very impressive, for a straight pen sketch. And your little notes are always amusing.

Oh wow you're amazing! That horse. Oh, that horse. I swooned when I saw that horse. His mane, his expression! The Miguel on the far right is absolutely adorable. I love the way his face seems so real, so-- well, the motion just seems-- uhh, fluid, soft, not saggy but... does that make sense? Tulio's outfit looks real good, btw. Chel, up in the middle, is also REALLY DARN CUTE. I miss drawing people so much. I wanna draw more people now. Great job on Chel's mouth. The poses and expressions are super, by the way.
And, LASTLY, when you say you drew this in pen... do you mean you drew it in pencil and then inked it? OR THAT YOU DREW IT IN PEN WITHOUT A RUBBER OR ANYTHING?
*has It's tough to be a god stuck in head now*

ALTIVO IS SO MUCH FUN. I normally can't draw animals, but he's not too bad--his head is basically like a square noodle! Which is weird, but adorable and totally not hard. (Also, I keep wanting to call him Maximus. CLEARLY THEY ARE RELATED. SOMEHOW.)
The far-right Miguel is the last one I drew, and I think it's my favorite, too. Dude is SO EXPRESSIVE--it's like you look at his screencaps and he NEVER HAS THE SAME EXPRESSION TWICE. Which is great when you're watching the movie (seriously the number of times I squeed about animation stuff while watching it...that's like half the reason I love it so much), but it's really hard to learn his basic head shape and facial proportions and stuff when they're constandly stretching and squashing around. Also HIS HAIR. HIS HAIR IS ALWAYS IN THE WAY and I seriously cannot tell what the back of his head or his chin is shaped like under there.
Nope, it's all pen! Some of it started out really, really light and only got darkened when I liked it, though, so with the way it scanned it looks a lot more polished than it really is. That's pretty much what I always do when I'm learning to draw somebody for the first time--otherwise, I'll freak out at EVERY LITTLE MISTAKE until I've erased a hole in the page, and I don't end up learning anything at all. This way, I force myself to keep going until I either get something half-decent, or I hate it SO MUCH that I'm okay with scratching it out and writing "AAARGH NOOOO" next to the scribbles.

You definitely did a great job with this animal. Totally makes me wanna draw one of my own. (Altivo meets Maximus WOULD BE SO COOL BY GOLLY )
Y'know, T, that's a really interesting technique. I'll try it right now!
