This is not a drawing, this is a a photo manipulation of the photos below, the creature is originally a husky that i took a picture of for a customer
The image doesnt have a meaning, no reason for the flames, fire, antlers, etc, i just create it because it looks beautiful to me and because i am hired to do so
The reason the hind legs look as one was because the husky was walking in motion whilst i took the image and it was in low light conditions so very low shutter speed, hence the left leg infront of the right, looking as one
The tail does look out of place because of my skill level, hopefully ill get it right on my next piece

I like this it's like a fantasy sort of thing when I look at the Mako in the title it makes me think of Final Fantasy 7, but the beast thing reminds me of the anime Naruto's nine tail fox. I like that it has all the awesome flames on the tail

this is insanely beautiful, as is the video it corresponds to.
the fox/wolf might be my favorite part of the whole thing, as well as the fire on the tails and the horns. it's a fantastic hybrid.
colors are gorgeous, and i have nothing else other to say other than the back paw looks like a tail, which is slightly confusing.

I think this piece of art is amazing I love how you've made the wolf have antlers and 6 tails its great. the colors you have chose are truly amazing and the beautiful back ground, this piece of art when I look at it takes me into a fantasy world of fairys and other fantasy creatures! I don't know how you do graphical art like that it is truly unbelievable I love it and think it is amazing

The bold and sparkly colors in the picture really POP! >w< the Lightning Crackling between the antlers is so Neat looking...

The wolf creature's back legs confuse me a little bit... I was wondering if he was missing one maybe..... but It just looks sort of indistinct... the way it is standing is very interesting... was it a stock image that you altered or did you draw the wolf from scratch?... the leg thing might be explained if the original image of the wolf/dog was sitting down with it's feet together......anyhow ^^ it doesn't really detract from the picture... it just adds a bit of mystery

I must say, you've done a very good job manipulating all the stocks into on one picture. The colours used here work well together especially with the red-green compliment and it all looks like one picture. You can clearly identify the negatives and positives of the picture as well. However, I also think the saturation on this picture is too strong. I see that you are aiming for a very vibrant picture especially with how fire is the main theme here. I also have a bit of a problem with how the wolf's anatomy here such as how the back legs sorta vanish into the picture, I'm not sure whether it's intentional or not. I suggest toning the saturation down a bit and focusing more on the colour palette of the picture. Overall this is a very good piece and it has some very good technique behind it. Keep up the good work.

Hey ! you asked me a feedback. Sorry for my english if i make mistakes or if you don't understand what I wrote :
I like the light of the forest behind, it's subtle, there is some darkness, just like the wolf is reflecting.
So, I think maybe you should use the same impression of light everywhere on the picture, to put the wolf forward. Because to me the wolf have a strong expression, I really love it eyes, and I think you wanted the viewers staring espacially at the wolf, so you had to highlight it.
Moreover, speaking of light, the fire around the wolf should light only around the wolf in a subtle manner, to put it forward again.
To resume, I would say you should let the darkness of the forest bringing mysterious on the whole picture instead of the orange light (on the left and the middle), to give more impact on wolf which really deserves it.

This is fabulous. I can't even begin to explain how in love I am with it. The posture, birds, trees, tails. Everything! I love how you mixed realism with fantasy. You have some real talent. 8 hours? I wouldn't be able to do this in the space of 2 years, and that's only slight exaggeration. This is just so awesome!

I can't even begin to comment on this image. There is so much going on. It's beautiful.
If I were to be really picky I'd say there is a little bit of blending that doesn't quite look right to me and the shaping of the background doesn't flow into the foreground perfectly, but overall, it's darn good.

First off, I love your subject matter if blending the real world in with fantastical things, colors ,and creatures.
The bold usage of reds and oranges with the compliments of green accents works really well to move your eye throughout the image. (It allows you to look away from the fire wolf deer). Also, the repetition of the flaming motif on the humming birds and glowing fireflys also creates movement and harmony.
I like the addition of the lightening between the horns of the creature. However, I wonder if its facial expression is too timid and innocent for the amount of fire and charge he has on his antlers and tails. (but his pose suggest timidness, so its up to you).
I love the hues of purples in your trees (nice touch!) and the mysterious toned down forest in the background!
My suggestions for improvement : deciding if his face expresses the same emotion his fire and body language are.
Also, if you added more shadowing to show the wolf so he belongs in this image. Also perhaps more cast shadowing (or more noticeable cast shadowing) from the bright fire).

Wow. The fact that this took you 8 hours is astounding. It seems like a small amount of time for the product produced. The nuances around the portrait is spectacular. The darkness around the wolf (from the forest) seems to enhance the firey tale. His facial expression is also vivid. It comes across as being curious, excited as well as cautious (the low bowed head). Hope that made sense. It also seems to play nicely into the (what looks like) slowly spinning tail (not sure if it is) which would then be accentuating the curiousity being displayed on the face. I envy your talent and you deserve every bit of credit and praise that goes your way!

the glowing colors and flames make this piece explode with excitement, motion seems to be the theme of this pm. the wolf is caught in a moment of either switching directions or maybe targets, but the only part on him that's really still is his planted right leg both back legs are dragging as if sliding sideways and digging in and it's left front is already pointing in the new direction. His tail is in unmistakable motion and it's head is canted to the side as it to toss it's antlers into a prey or enemy.
I get the feel of an almost invisible being standing or running on the clearing path just in front of the wolf, that explains the green branch and the blurs of motion that i think i see.
That's the story that i see, that's the beauty of the arts. an artist can produce something and we can make up our own stories.
this is well done a whole lot of work has gone into this with so many small details done so well!

My first response was jus WOW. This is so cool. My wife and I love Fantasy art and this may not be exactly what I traditionally enjoy, but the colors are amazing, the thought and subject placement are superb. Nicely done. I have many friends that will enjoy this.
