Description An update to the Hawk Spear for my Zelda fanfic "The Realm Walker".  For the previous version see here: www.deviantart.com/tnc-n3cl/ar…

Added some decorative features.  The most notable is the change to the spacer on the main head.  I added little "wing" sections to it to mimic Rito bows like the Falcon Bow ( zelda.fandom.com/wiki/Falcon_B… ).  I also indented sections of the spacer as a way to reduce weight.  The second feature is the addition of colored stripes to the shaft.  I added two sets of these, one for each of the spear heads.  The colored stripes are modeled after those found on various Rito weapons in BotW, such as the Feathered Edge ( zelda.fandom.com/wiki/Feathere… ).  I've included a version that shows Sketchup's lines between the different colors as well as one that "smoothes" these lines so they are not visible.

This weapon is wielded by Medah, daughter of the Rito Champion Revali in the future of a BotW themed AU where the Champions are possesed by Ganon rather than outright killed.  The secondary head is used most commonly in high speed dive attacks to deliver death from above (think a peregrine's 200 mph dive, except it's human sized and holding a spear).  The primary head is used for slashing attacks and gives Medah a distinct advantage while on the ground compared to the Rito's standard Feathered Spear.  Its bifurcation allows her to catch and even break enemy weapons while the hook can be used to dismounted horseback riding Bokoblins.
