do you do how-to-builds on your MOCs? that would be awesome if you do, especially for omega Tahu, alpha Kopaka, and sigma Takanuva. those are my favourite MOCs of yours

They do, it's just that if lego mass produced sets like this, they would all cost over $50 each because there is so much stuff crammed inside.

I would suggest calling it Thau Nuva revamp. Because mistika had the adaptive armor that gave him that special hau instead of this hau nuva

There now it's officially "Tahu NUVA Revamp". I'm pretty sure somewhere in the storyline it said that the original Hau Nuva was the default AA mask and it changed to '08 form when he went to Karda Nui. Idk it was pretty confusing and I might be wrong.

Before I go on to reveal my thoughts, I'd like to say that you've not only captured Tahu's original visual essence; but have made it better in my opinion.
Even though some of the other MOCers don't quite like stockier builds, especially with toa character revamps; I quite like this look a lot, as it makes Tahu seem intimidating, dangerous, & likely quite unpleasant to stand against. I would even go as far to say that he has a feel similar to that of a space marine from Warhammer 40K, & like our fire element wielding friend here: you just don't wanna go messing with him.
You've also done the proportions quite nicely, whilst adding in nice detailing & textures. However; I do feel that this is more similar to Tahu Nuva when he was first in Nuva armor, unlike how he was in the Mistika series. That is said, even with the jet pack; though I still like this rendition more.
You've put great building techniques into this guy, I'm impressed.
I am curious as to why you chose to utilize the original hand type, instead of making hands with posable fingers. Was it due to the personal opinion of the appearance look how you like to make MOCs; or was it rather to give him a subtle sense of being like an actual set so to speak, due to nostalgics reasons? *I don't know which way I would like better, I feels ze nostalgia too, yet I luv fingurrrs!*
Overall, this is a great revamp of Tahu, & I look forward to future builds from ye!

Wow thanks for your thoughtful opinion. I picked the original hand type because that is the way the Nuva's hands were designed, so nostalgia did play a large part. (That and I don't have any classic red exo-force arms.)

There I changed it to a Nuva revamp. Now it makes much more sense.
