Whoops, my mistake. Nitro Man isn't. Well, not every Robot Master fits into one of these categories.

I know, right?
Splash Woman = First Female Robot Master, and managed to attract most of the fans
Sheep Man is a frickin' thunder cloud.

I don't understand "Reject Man"... Can you explain it?

Mega Man games are notorious for having Robot Masters that seem like complete rejects. Top Man, Spring Man, Sheep Man, etc.

I don't see that Top Man or Spring Man seem like rejects, they look pretty cool to me.
However,Sheep Man IS kind of silly.... I don't get any connection of a Sheep to electric circuits.

I think of both of them as "Out of Ideas Man".
Well, wool does contain static electricity. Personally, I think he should have been called "Ram Man". His stage is full of computer stuff, so it could be a pun on RAM (a computer's memory).

Does Clown Man (MM8) count?

I guess. Though Clown Man is definitely less of a fail than plenty of other Robot Masters.

Actually, a Food Man would be pretty cool. The robots I'm referring to with Reject Man are ones like Spring Man and Sheep Man.

Only combo breaker I can think of for this is Megaman 2. There was no electric RM. Or ice. (Though Flashman's stage did have ice physics...)

Oh, I don't think any of the games have this exact setup. These are just the recurring themes throughout them.

Wood Man, Skull Man, Star Man, Plant Man, Junk Man, Jewel Man, Pump Man.
All use shield-type weapons.

Oh, I see. Yeah, but that's only prominent in their battle style, not in their name or appearance.

Fire Man's Fire Storm weapon had a little fire shield going around you as you fired it.

SilverKazeNinja In reply to MisterNickGreene [2011-09-14 21:22:06 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, but I don't think that counts. You'd have to shoot the fireball for the shield part to work.
