These are the drawings that I drew for my daily drawing... thing. Before you ask, I'm not going to be uploading the results for day 4 because the drawings for that day were nothing more than really rough digital doodles.

Here, we have some sci-fi design concepts and my personal take on a siren. For those who don't know, sirens were creatures from Greek mythology that lured sailors with gorgeous singing in order to cause them to shipwreck.

The siren design was originally very different. It was basically just some lady with blue skin in tattered white robes and a treasure chest for a head. I definitely kept the treasure chest idea - you can see it right there! - but I opted for a more grotesque design. This is my first time making a design of that kind, and I'd like to make more of them in the future.

All of the sci-fi designs here are not actually standalone. They're part of a science fantasy "story" that I've had some vague ideas for. I put quotation marks around the word story because, while the "story" would certainly be a story, the focus wouldn't really be on the story if I did make it. It would be more focused on unusual environments and spectacle above all else. I'm thinking of making it a web-comic so that I can get "practice" with web-comic storytelling.
