Description
Here's my new character/costume, she is called Newsprint. I debuted her on Thursday night at Anthrocon 2013. This is the gray cat makeup I've been working on.My upper body and legs are also painted with Temptu Dura Ink.I like the way the makeup came out on Friday over Thursday's.

sexy and wild. Just think if you applied nails for claws on both sets of paws you would be ready to go on the prowl. I love it.

Thank you. I purposely didn't put claws on these paws because Newsprint is a domestic cat and their claws aren't visible most of the time.

Very beautiful! If I saw you at a party, I would not be able to keep my eyes off of you because you look amazing!

this would seem like a excellent idea for going with makeup instead of sweating in a suit... good job :>

Thanks! It's my thing anyway. I love fursuits, but I probably will never own one. I really love doing makeup, and can change my look however I want and as often as I want. :3

You look great! Did you paint your face with the Temptu Dura Ink too? How well did the Dura Ink last?

Thanks! I only used the Dura Ink on my upper body and my legs. It lasted very well. I kept it on overnight and even took a shower with it on in the morning; I just needed to do some touchups on it here and there. Nearly all of it really stayed on: there wasn't even any gray on the sheets of the bed. I do wish I had an airbrush with me though, only because there wouldn't have been any streaking like I got using a foam brush. Still, I'm pretty happy with how it all came out.

That's really cool. I wish attended so I could have offered you my airbrush.
I've always imagined having a retreat where you could spend days at a time transformed with makeup and it sounds like Dura Ink would be perfect. Was it expensive?

It would be perfect for that, and it's something I'd love to do sometime. Dura ink *is* expensive, though. A 4oz bottle is about $32. Other alcohol-based makeups are about the same price.

It would be fun, wouldn't it? That is expensive, especially since you'll need multiple colors, but it's good to know that it's within the realm of possibility.

Definitely worth doing, though! There would be one, maybe two main colors and the others would be accents, so it wouldn't be outrageously expensive.

That's true. Β It'd be a fun way to spend a vacation.

Oh, for reference, I used about 6oz total to cover my arms, shoulders, across the top of my back, my upper chest and my legs. It would probably be a little less if I used an airbrush since it's more efficient.
