Description
It has been a while since my last pure space wallpaper. I always wanted to do something closer to the origin of planets and solar systems (instead of blowing things up all the time and destroying them). I still have some other ideas in mind so you can expect some follow-up images later. To the image itself: similar to the formation of Earth and Moon there is debris of stones surrounding the main planet. The stones are accumulating at certain places and finally forming a moon.

I love the use of red in this. Great work! I would like to add this to the "Spacescapes - Digital" gallery at the Space-Vistas group. (And, of course, you are welcome to join the group!)

Seems different from your usual works, maybe it's the haziness and colour scheme. Anyway, the haze successfully adds depth and a sense of planetary formation. Along with the well-done features, especially the asteroids, this makes for a pleasant piece to gaze at. And I appreciate that your style avoids lens flares. The crispness and varied colours of the starfield make it realistic too.

Awesome colours. While it's cool to see realistically-coloured interpretations of planet formation, sometimes the intense pinks and reds are just too cool to pass up
