Reminds me of the Fremen from Frank Herbert's 'Dune'.

Really great character. Even though there's nothing else in the picture it's like you can just read everything from the single figure. Foremost, his clothing reminds me of arabic style clothing. So he's a man of the sand? And it seems like he's alone, so is he a wanderer, or is he looking for something? Next, he walks so upright, he's just oozing self-confidence. His strength is obvious, but his goals are not, so what exactly is lurking behind that veil? Sorry, but I just love to speculate...it makes me happy. Again, a wonderful piece.
Actually, he kind of reminds me of an Aielmen. I'm not sure if you've ever read any of the Wheel of Time books, but there's a people of the sand called the Aiel and they are some pretty intense fighters. This is what I would kind of imagine them being like.

This one's really cool reminds me of rebel soldier cards in Magic:TG. The card illustrations have a similar concept. They're soldiers, covered up with all sorts of clothes and bandages etc. and are a put in desert/sandy scenery. Yep. This one's a favourite

I love the way you use colours, the roughness combined with softness makes it really original and good looking. I also like the scetchiness on this, looks better than if it would have been inked. I also love the movement you captured in his clothes and the folds on 'em. The clothes on their own are really good, yet simple design. I love the masks on his shoulders, they add a great touch.
What I like the most, however, is the fact that he doesn't glare straight to the "camera", but rather way up on the sky, adds an impressive feeling to this picture, even thought it's quite simple. I'm definately faving this one.

I love the style with the blur and all. The eye's a great. People that that eye's are the so important. Funny how you pull that off without even doing them. Hahaha
It has such a sense of impending... something. Malice? It's just so threatening... If I saw that coming at me I'd say "What... what's in his hand? ... Oh God! ... WHAT'S IN HIS HAND?!"
