That moment when you are playtesting your own horror game and you find a creepy bug you can't fix.The dolls in one of the rooms are not supposed to move. Two of the three dolls turn towards Charlotte if she interacts with them in a certain direction. This bug is relatively minor and doesn't really affect the game. It kind of freaks me out, so I left it in.
The blonde girl in glasses and Charlotte de L'enore belongs to me
EDIT Whoops, silly me. I forgot to uncheck "Walking Animation" in the Doll event page. It should be easier to fix now.

If you made the game with RPG Maker (any of them), chances are you forgot to check "Direction Fix" in the event's properties. But you already decided to leave it in, so...

What's the horror game going to be about? Is it going to be jumpscare oriented like SCP Security Breach and Slender, or is it going to focus more on atmosphere and tension like Dreadhalls and Alien Isolation?

Probably atmosphere. Shortly after the disappearance of their mother, paranormal phenomenon start happening to Charlotte de L'enore and her sisters. Their search for the truth uncovers dark secrets of not only their mother's disappearance but their mansion's history as well.
It's not set in stone, but murder is involved.

Amen to that. Jump Scares are a cheap kind of scary, in fact they are more surprising than actually scary in my opinion.
