Description
....a very small lady. <3Princess Mei Chan, from the Fullmetal Alchemist manga, in all her courtly glory. Daughter of the lowliest concubine from the most ignominious of all fifty Xingese clans she may be, but she at least knows how to pose for a portrait.
(Anyone who can tell me correctly why she is holding a peach gets ten points. ^_^)

This Mei along with Mai from Avatar are my favorite characters. Odd how that turned out, but anyway,...awesome picture, with her pose, outfit, symbolism and everything. It's so hard to find fanart for her too, so I'm glad you did this piece!

That's good to know! It's just that I read a lot of people complain about comments on old submissions because they've improved since then and such, but I guess that probably only applies to criticism.

Thanks very much! The peach is symbolic of immortality in Daoist texts. Since Xing is the FMAverse's answer to China, I liked the parallels.
