Description
The Teruvian Military developed the AV-S and AV-T as standard wheeled armored personnel carriers and armored support vehicles. The designation "AV" meaning Armored Vehicle, and T for Troop and S for Support denote this. The Teruvian Confederation was one of the first, and oldest, factions to join the Coalition. The Confederation, therefore, was one of the first factions to be completely wiped out by the IDI's violent and vicious assaults to stamp out the Coalition in it's early years.

Despite this, the Teruvians managed to hold onto existence. Their government, and all their planets gone, they fled with the Coalition Fleet for years, barely holding onto thier race. However, the dying race of the Teruvians passed on a lot of their technology and designs to the Coalition armories. The AV-S and AV-T are two such pieces of equipment that are still employed on the battlefield in Coalition deployments.

Armed with a basic pair of machineguns mounted in CROWs turrets, and with the AV-S mounting a heavy chain-gun, similar in design to the Serian League's Revolver Cannon. Fully amphibious, the vehicle is capable of high speeds over land and much slower speeds over water. Despite this, it's ability to ford and swim rivers and lakes makes it spectacular in reconnaissance and detached operations.

The AV-S is capable of carrying a viable load out of troops, but no more than 2 fireteams of normal medium sized races. With the AV-T able to carry a full squad of 20 troops from medium sized races.
