Description
The Vyncroft Hovertruck is the primary support, patrol, and cargo vehicle in the Saurian Kingdom Armed Forces. Employed in a wide variety of ways, with many different variants the vehicle is a true combat utility vehicle. The design has everything from a Short-Barreled plasma howitzer for demolition use, to a tight-beam anti-vehicle Laser mounted in a small turret, though the typical outfit is with a Anti-infantry/Anti-Air Crew Operated Weapons System (CROWS) high-speed laser.

The vehicle is often seen behind the front lines, and right up at the front lines in any position... from a Cargo or troop convoy, to a logistical movement, to a support vehicle for an infantry or reconnaissance unit without the luxury of a Haven. The sheer modularity and customization ability of the vehicle allows for dozens of different set-ups, ranging from applique armor mounted along the sides of the cargo compartment with diamond shaped firing slits... to a covered troop transport... to a stake-bed cargo truck.

Vehicle crews often name their Vyncrofts, typically along the same lines as the mission they typically find themselves doing... or the type of Vyncroft that specific hovertruck is.

This is essentially a mix of a Half-Track, and a HMMWV... with slight touches of 2 1/2 ton truck. It comes in many variants and can be found just about everywhere Saurian Kingdom troops are present in one form or another. It's quick, lightweight, and armored just enough to keep infantry small arms and Heavy Machineguns out and no more. I noticed that while there's alot of artwork for the main battle tanks and APCs, the lowly Hummer-esque support vehicles are often overlooked. So I decided to design one for myself!
