Description
A little birthday gift for Tvonn9 (Tim Von Rueden) a really awesome artist! This is one of his characters, a girl called Red, she's a fighter and Tim's concepts and illustrations of her are super cool! Tim does a livestream every Wednesday and they've been incredibly helpful and interesting for me (and many others I'm sure), hopefully this goes some way to show my gratitude.Hope you have a really Happy Birthday Tim!!

I use Tvonn9 's chalk brush, it has a gorgeous texture to it that I feel very comfortable using because I've a background in fine arts. To download the brushes you'll probably need to look on conceptcookie's website. Hope this helps!

This is an awesome portrait! I love how bright her hair is. You've done a beautiful job with the tones of her face, and the detail of her lips!! Astounding. I love those eyes, that gaze, the slight upwards tug of her lips. It's a great expression!

Listening to Tim talk about her is really inspiring, he has a really cool variety of characters for his project. I wanted her to look a little sassy and playful, but keep it subtle, as if someone's asked her to keep a neutral face for a picture but she can't help but giggle.
