Margaret and I have been rivals for the bragging rights of "school detective" for almost two years now.

Most of the time we're off on our own separate activities. But sometimes we get interested in the same thing at the same time. Then it's a race to discover or solve whatever mystery is calling.

As both of us compete to be first, we take bigger and bigger risks to outdo each other. This is when our competition gets us into trouble. One of us will finally take that extra step too far, and then the real adventure begins!
