Not to be THAT person, but Panther's aren't actually a species, they are just really dark coloured leopard :>

im aware, but i'm still gonna specify that it's a panther. the same way i'd specify that a king cheetah character is, indeed, a king cheetah.
its sort of like me saying a character is a "black cat". those aren't species, but people get the point.
