Description I did this to unwind after a really frustrating english class today. If i had known that I would have the energy to do something past a half-baked concept, i probably would have made a little effort to at least come up with an original idea. But I've been wanting to try out the theme of random-unexplained-flying-boy for a while, it entices me and i cannot explain it.
all artistic value aside, though, i enjoyed making this. SHAMELESSLY filtered manip for the background,

I think "So long and thanks for the fish" is my favourite out of the books mostly because of Fenchurch.

I love the interesting poses, and the movement I can see in it! When I look at it, I have so many stories unfolding in my head about what they're doing and how they got there and who they are etc etc. AAhhh, It's a nice, fun looking piece. And doesn't matter about the background, it was just for fun anyway

i think the reality of the city enhances the cartoony-ness of the characters above it, but your style is very real in a way that makes the whole thing feel very surreal.
you have such a unique and enticing style. i really enjoy this. and i just love the concept. i can hardly take my eyes off this, it's so awesome. : D

Randomly flying boy all I can think of is the movie The Boy Who Could Fly but this is considerably prettier <3 I like that you did put some effort into the photo background to make it mesh and hey it is better than nothing and if you returned to it it gives you a great beginning!
