very-very good job. level of details is amazing! but: connetion pins in render (power and data). in real world, they aren't so glossy and saturated. and there are many too hard edges of (i don't know how it's in English) the main metal hdd detail, the box.

Yeah its all poly modeled and smoothed using nurbs in Cinema 4D.

Selling on Turbosquid is a bit hit and miss some months I'll sell quite a few models and then other months I'll sell nothing at all. Whats it like on Rendo

Well TurboSquid is probably a lot more for the "pro" - which I am sure at times many model themselves and use TS for "filler" stuff. I interviewed with a fellow from Discovery Channel a little over a year ago and when I asked him where they got all their models - he said only a bit was modeled by them and the rest came from TS
Rendo is pretty good and pretty steady, though it is VERY rare to find models such as this one for that price there on Rendo - it caters more to the regular artists lol - a HD model like this - probably not as detailed would probably sell for around $20.00 US - if it would even sell at all lol. Big sellers there are 3D content and PNG special effects - in fact my biggest seller is a PNG special effects pack for use in postwork
