No, I haven't seen it. Is it only in Germany?

Trace is up pretty high here but the main trunk of the tree extends at a 45 degree angle outwards from the ground; very much like a bonsai. The moment I saw the tree I also saw Trace up in the furthest branches where it looked like an eagle nest might have once been. I asked him if he'd be willing to climb up there and off he went, just like Tarzan!

I think that when the tree was young the heavy snows caused it to bend enough that the main trunk stayed permanently bent and as it grew over the years the succeeding snows and winds caused it to take on these amazing twists and turns in the trunk. Trace has had experts estimate many of the Bristlecone Pines on his property to be many centuries old. There was a tree on his property that had two intertwining trunks and the arborist I think estimated it at almost a thousand years old. Someone cut it down and stole it a couple of years ago. Really tragic to say the least.

This property of Trace's is one of the most beautiful and most sacred I have ever set foot on in my life. The moment I stepped foot out of the car and onto the land I could feel it taking me in and holding me. The further we hiked into the forest the more amazing I felt. When Trace slipped out of his clothing I stood there feeling like the universe was being very kind to me and the earth in her turn was saying thank you for showing her off in such beautiful ways. Photographing naked bodies at one with the earth is a big part of my spiritual journey.

That sounds wonderful and the foto really caught your feeling. It has such a peaceful and at the same time strong tone.
I also know some places where I just feel to sit and touch the earth with my fingers. It than seems as if the trees around are watching and wispering in the wind. Very quiet voices, but wonderful to hear them.
As a child I sometimes thought that little ferrys were around when I was walking to such places. But allways when I tried to have a look at them...they seemed to hide.
Now I am older and the feeling is still the same, but I more think of it like the spirit of the forest I feel.
To see humans fitting into this like a puzzle piece in the perfect place of the picture is just amazing.

I am allways happy to see such fotographs from you
