I often work my images so as to give them more of a feeling of a painting or illustration rather than the heavily saturated look of digital. I think it's interesting to take a look at what I start with though; there's nothing wrong with this image in its raw form. I just enjoy moving in different directions with my imagery, exploring possibilities and finding things I like. There is never a right or wrong, only choices made in the moment.
