I love her music!!!! Only sometimes Alanis sounds like a sick cat warbling on about how life sucks...

Even with your very angled lines I still see his face in there.

That is either the power of suggestion, or you have such a talent.

I'm not sure if the pose suites him just because I know him from "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" and "Harry Potter" and a few movies after that.  But it's a good idea and really good technique/style.

But question. How does the title match up?

=== Edit===

Ok, I received new information, and I think I understand where the title and the wings come from now. I think I saw the movie "Dogma" where Morisette had the role of God, but I honestly don't remember anything else. I'll have to dig it up now to see what I forgot if I saw it at all.

Also, you should tag this with his name since there are people like me, who don't know, or remember "Dogma".

Hey, Thanks for looking through the art.

I think I posted this really late last night.  In fact Im laughing that I dont remember even posting this.  I woke up in my computer chair about 4AM and was like that was weird.  Ive been staying up super late drawing Rickman and Bowie the last few nights.

I will add the tags, I usually try and add them but again must have sleep-posted this.

Yea his character in Dogma is called Metatron, which biblically was the voice of god, I think people couldnt hear god or they would explode so god sent Metatron to speak for it.  I honestly had no idea where I was going with the drawing and added the book as a source of light and shadow.  And yea Alanis played God in Dogma so thats the dumb title which I again blame on sleepy time.
