Well, it would most likely be the case for them, Keba is trying as shown, pretty sure, Tango, Kazumi and Alena would be as well

He had been sitting there for a long time, just thinking about the blood bath of a war. All of the deaths on his side. The innocent lives, who did agree to go, were no longer with him. Thankfully some of his best survived, his wife's brother being one of them, but the others...didn't. How would he tell their families this heartbreaking news? Lantus just didn't know how, but he did blame himself for all of it.
His wife swam out there after a while, sitting beside her King. She couldn't wait for him to come in any longer as she knew what was on his mind. And she didn't need telepathy to figure that out, as he wasn't himself. She knew he felt guilty for their deaths and that he was blaming it all on him.
"Lantus," she spoke finally. "I know what upsets you. Please...do not feel like that."
"It's my fault they died," he spoke, knowing he couldn't battle Keba's natural wit at the moment. "They're dead Keba. And there's nothing I could've done to save them!"
"They knew, before going, that this could be an outcome. That they could lose their lives to this war."
"But I'm their King! I'm supposed to keep them alive! How can I call myself a good King when I failed that...when I couldn't even keep myself protected."
Keba looked to his bandaged wounds. All from that war and all painful reminders to Lantus, the worse being his lack of a left eye. Keba did her best to heal them, and some responded to her magic well, some just took longer to heal and were bandaged for now. As for the eye, that failed completely. A war wound that would never heal, a reminder of their deaths was on his body permanently. She placed her hand onto his shoulder to give him some comfort.
"Lantus...you did your best. Which is more then anybody could ask for. You shouldn't blame yourself for their deaths or for that injury. They wouldn't want their King to feel guilty like this. And they are glad that their families will live in a more peaceful time," she speaks softly to him. "You're even a better King then most, as you feel grief over those who passed on. A bad King would not feel those things."
"How would you know, Keba?"
"I lived with a good Emperor before," she answers. "And I have a good sense of judgement, my love. I've also seen a horrible dictator in action and you are certainly not like him."
"But...what do I do now? Their families..."
"Yes, we will have to speak to them about their loved ones passing in the war. But we can also honor the dead with a day for them. Which I think will help in the healing process for everyone."
"Everyone?" Lantus turned to look to her with his right eye.
"You included, Lantus. This will help heal the pain in your heart, and in their hearts too. However, it is too late for that now. Let us retire tonight and then go speak with the families in the morning."
She then gave him a hug right after saying that, which got him off guard. An action that generally helped with the healing of a person. And it did help a little here. He did feel a bit better then before and so he returned the gesture. So he got up with her once it was over.
"Keba...thank you."
"Remember Lantus, I'm always here for you," Keba took his hand, leading him back into bed. The next morning will be hard, but they will make it through, together.
