The Merking of Lost Atlantide long time ago took in the role of a guardian to one mermaid:

In the ocean, far from any underwater city, a very young mermaid was swimming as fast as she could, as if she was trying to escape something, which was actually a wild shark, as she swam, she was getting really worn out from the chase but her disability was giving her trouble doing so, for she had no arms to fend or protect herself, if help didn't arrive... she'd be done for

???: Ahh! Help!

in the not so far kingdom, a person heard a scream for help, not thinking much, he swam out of his kingdom, to hear where was that shout coming from and rushed over there like a bullet. He got there really fast and saw a mergirl swimming for her life and a shark just behind her. He could say what the outcome would be, if he just stand there. So he fired towards the shark, knocking him out with his white fin. He then looked back at the mergirl, he never saw something like that before, SHE HAD NO ARMS! He swam closer to her s l o w l y to make sure she won't freak out.

??????: it's okay now...

Still horrified even after the merman knocked out that shark, the pale blonde haired, light rose tailed, armless mergirl backed up from the merman that saved her because no one had ever helped her before in her young life

?????: Ah... *she looked to the merman* please... please don't hurt me... sir

The merman looked at her confused

??????: um... why would I hurt you? I just wanted to help

????: Ah... I'm... I'm sorry... mister...

She was really shaken up, but this was a first for her. No one had help her in danger before, beside the merman in front of him, she didn't know what to do or say but she bowed her head to him

Lantus: let's start like this. Hello my name is Lantus Aralis (bows) and yours?

Alena: I... I'm Alena... sir Ar.. Ari-lus *she pronoucned his last name wrong*

Lantus: (chuckles at that) =w=' please, call me Lantus.

Alena: Ah.. you're... not angry?

She was in totally surprise

Lantus: ^^ no, why would I be? Where are your parents? Where do you live?

Alena: Oh... *but when Lantus mentioned her parents and home... it shook her to the core, both were the reason she ran away in the first place* Nn... *she started to tear*

Lantus: ...oh, sorry... (he assumed her parents were dead)

Alena: *she was nervous, but had to tell him* I... I don't want.... I don't want to back... I... I... *sniff* I ran away... *just then, her wrap which was torn fell off her body onto the ground... there was dried blood on it, and it was her blood* Ah!

Lantus: !!! then I assume, you have nowhere to go. Come to my place (swims closer to her) I'll carry you, if that's okay, ofcourse

Alena: *she shook her head upsettingly, but his request to take her to his underwater city made her a bit surprised, she was hesistant at first because what if his city was the same, but Lantus was the first merperson to show her some heart and she knew she'd wouldn't last longer on her own, she cautionly nodded to him* please... nn... *her body just felt weaker, due to hunger*

Lantus: (he took her into his arms and swam toward his kingdom as fast as he could. He didn't tell the girl, he was a king there, afraid to upset her) here we are~ (the golden palace was shining very bright, like a guiding light, that's why no one in Lost Atlantide wasn't afraid of getting lost) this is where you are going to live from now on... no one will hurt you here. (all the time they swam, he was reading her mind, so he knew exackly what to say to this poor little girl) lets get you something to eat ^^

Alena: *saw the city and golden palace* Ah… wow… *when he said to her this is where she’ll live and she won’t be hurt again, she thanked him, when he said something about having something to eat* please… sorry, my tummy hurts...

Lantus: (got her into the palace) Damiren! make something for our guest, please ^^

Merchef: yes, your Highness! (hurries to the kitchen)

When the chef called Lantus, highness. She was in total shock

Alena:Ah... H... Highness?

Lantus: OO' whoops... well yes, this is my kingdom, Alena and you are more than welcome to stay ^^

Alena was shocked to learn that, but she didn't get scared away, she was too weak to do so and Lantus had saved her from death and has also shown her kindness, which was something new to her, because she never recieved kindness before she ran away, she was still a bit cautious though

Alena: nn... th... thank you, Lan-Lantus... sir

Lantus: come on, lets give you something to eat ^^

Alena: *her tummy growled a bit just then, she was very hungry* Ah Okay.... Thank you...

Lantus: ^^ (leads her to the kitchen where the merchef already prepared some meal) there you go (looks at her) if you need help, just tell me, okay?

Alena followed Lantus to the palace kitchen and saw the meal prepared

Alena: Ah! *she was surprised, to see a plate of delicious food, she looks the merchef and bows* Thank you very much... and please

Lantus: (sits her on the chair and starts feeding her) say "aaa" ^^

Alena: Ahh...

Lantus: ^^ (gives her some salmon)

Alena eats it, the salmon tasted good, but anything would be good to her since she was given proper food, it made her a bit happy, though her tummy growled because of it, because Alena finally was given decent food

Alena: Mmm...

Lantus: (keeps feeding her)(poor girl, she is so hungry)

She was very hungry, no one had ever done this for her before, nor shown kindness (not even her birth parents) until now, Lantus was the first merperson to help her, very soon, Alena had finished her meal, it did make feel sore in the tummy, but it was decent food and it was something she need

Alena: Th... Thank you... Lantus

Lantus: hmm~I wonder how is she doing...

(and so he decided to visit her)
