Let's bring in the New Year with some Little Tails featuring my two OCs, Sonny & Michelle, out taking a romantic stroll on New Year's Day to grab something to eat at one of Michelle's nearby favorite restaurants several blocks away. No snowfall was going to keep Sonny from taking his special girl on a promised dinner date and decided it would be fun to take the scenic route through the local park and enjoy walking slowly together hand in hand to their dinner destination, instead of traveling by bus or car.

While walking on a snowy path enjoying the brisk cold air and winter wonderland, they noticed an odd brightly burning lamp post out all by itself along the path. They weren't sure if they'd just taken a wrong turn or maybe just never noticed it before along the park pathway that they'd walked so many times earlier. The eerie lack of footprints along the white snowy pathway did seem a little off considering the park was always busy for this time of year, even in the snow.

They both stopped and took a moment to look at this mysteriously burning bright lamp before moving on. They studied it with curiosity and puzzlement, with Michelle questioning Sonny about it and Sonny not quite sure what to make of it. To make it even more odd was on their walk back home later the lamp post was nowhere to be found, even though they were sure that they'd walked the same path back as they had walked on earlier.
