Usually I use two custom brushes: the first is a simply square shaped and the second is a bean shaped brush.
Only these.
On Painter, I use a palette knife.

Did you used Blur in this picture? Cuz when i use blur picture becomes all blury, and lost his colors xD Sorry for questions, but for me it's one of the best works in dA

the out-of-focus on the rocks in the foreground.

I don't have a link for the brush, I'm sorry: it's a simple brush with irregular rotary motion.
For differences about colors, I say no. In each program, and each operating system, I always use the same color profiles and monitor calibration
