can you name brushes you are using? and are you using any custom brushes?

tommasorenieri In reply to Death-Shape [2012-10-24 20:02:01 +0000 UTC]
Hi!
Usually I use two custom brushes: the first is a simply square shaped and the second is a bean shaped brush.
Only these.
On Painter, I use a palette knife.
Thanks a lot

Hi,
I used the standard filter "Gaussian Blur" to create
the out-of-focus on the rocks in the foreground.
Thanks a lot

i will ask little different. I know you used blur a little in foreground. But i mean are you using blur when coloring main character? Like skin, clothes?

Can I ask a question?
How you made the weapon? I mean, what brush you used?

Hello,
for the sword you can use the selection or the paths.
No special brushes.
Thanks a lot

Thank you so much for uploading this tutorial, I was really looking forward to see how did you do it. This was really helpful.
Do you have a download link for the custom brush you used for the wings? And also, would there be a difference in the colors, background or other elements if you made the whole piece in the same program?

tommasorenieri In reply to paraxylene [2012-10-03 16:35:26 +0000 UTC]
Hi!
I don't have a link for the brush, I'm sorry: it's a simple brush with irregular rotary motion.
For differences about colors, I say no. In each program, and each operating system, I always use the same color profiles and monitor calibration this is essential to know how it will be in print (or web).
I'm sorry for my english

Alright, I'll try tweaking my brush options to see if I get the same effect.
I see! That's really interesting. I thought there would be some kind of difference (be it on the color or something else) since you used three programs for this piece I think? But maybe there isn't haha.
Your English is fine! Thank you for answering my questions.
