Hello everybody on DA, it's been a while!
Just thought I'd share a few panels from a comic I am working on and am trying to get published called "Over the Hills".
It's the story of the young Ed Helson, who falls in love with Lucy, a girl from his village. However Lucy's father wants her to marry the rich John Woodworth, so he pays a group of soldiers to force Ed to enlist and go overseas to fight the Prussians. Ed makes new friends, fight battles, escapes the army, ends up as a slave on a ship, becomes a pirate and much more... But during all this he still hopes to be able to return to England and see his beloved Lucy again.

So... this is one of the reasons I haven't been posting much (if at all) on DA. But don't worry I'm not going anywhere! Posts may not be regular, but I'll still stick around here.
