Since my art/shading skills are improving, I thought about redoing this drawing I made about a year ago: sta.sh/01m568prsafx
I know I could've done better with that one, but once I felt that I was happy with it, that was it, good to go. Yet as I looked back at it over the past year, I kept getting bugged by how poorly blended everything was (at least to me). So I felt like redoing it, and I'm much more pleased with how this one came out (though I did trace over both of them, I won't deny that part ). I used colours based off of real African photos for the sunrise, and for Mufasa and Simba, I actually did use their initial colours but saturated them to make them slightly life-like. Note: I said slightly.
All in all, I'd say this was time well spent.
Edit: just noticed I didn't forgot to shade the trees, so I did, and also changed the watermark colour.
