Description
As the raging herd charged past him, Simba's heart pounded as fast as the hooves below. He knew his only hope was to cling onto the branch he was on, or else he was doomed. Zazu had told him help was on its way, but who knew how long it would take to get here? All he could do now was wait and pray that he didn't lose his grip on the branch. Then, just as a wildebeest bumped into the branch he was on with enough force to shake it, his father's voice called out from up above: "I'm coming, Simba! Hold on!"

Boy, was this a tough one to draw. Did the background from scratch, since I wanted to take a shot at drawing the canyon walls; from my point of view, I could've done better, but I'm happy with the result. Obviously, I didn't want all the wildebeest to be the same; I originally had three wildebeest to draw (from references), but one of them didn't turn out right, so the trio was down to two. Then I put them all on different angles to make it look like they're all in a different stance, even though they're all clones of each other.

Simba was the only one where it was one and done; I'm happy with how he turned out, despite the predicament he's in. (^-^) Made him look semi-real like I do with all me other art, and the branch... eh, I could've done better, but oh well. Enjoy nonetheless!
