Description
For me, this is one of my favourite parts of the movie; Simba's overcome all his obstacles, he's reunited with his loved ones, and he's now ready to be a wise king like his pops. But what really does me in is the music that plays as he ascends Pride Rock; it's such an epic, regal, and redeeming rendition of Simba's theme. It fits so well with not just the scene, but also with the story; he's gone through so much, but he's pushed past the pain, conquered his demons, and is ready to be what he was supposed to be. Hans definitely earned that Oscar with this movie.

I felt like combining the two versions; yes, the remake's timing is SO off, but I like this pose, even if it's not that regal looking. Palette is from the original, of course, and my rock textures suck! I'm not really one for rocks anyway, but I'm trying my best though. At least the rest is pleasing to look at, too. Enjoy!
