This is the kind of image I can look at all day. I do so love the motion in this, the colors of dusk and that pocket of emotion lingering in the shadows. Wonderful.

Thanks Joy. I have a show at a nearby coffee shop and a 10 X 15 print of this (framed to 16 X 20) is included, so it's an image I'm fond of as well.

Really beautiful: elegant and modern shape, perfect for a wall.
I'm usually attracted by more complicated and complex flame works, but this one deserves an exception.
I wish I could have the gradient ....perfect colours as well.

Thank you so much! I'll check the gradient. Don't remember which it is.

it's like something moving quickly and captured on film.

Hi sya,
I did this in 2004 but didn't submit it until now because I thought it was too abstract to appeal to many. Go figure! As you probably know, it's hard to figure just what appeals to people.
Thanks for your comments.
Tom
PS: I have been sending requests for a good Apo tutorial to your site.

Hahah, I do the same thing, then when I finally decide to post it, turns out to be a great hit! Makes me wonder how I can be so far off in judging my own artwork.
Thanks for mentioning my tutorial! I've been considering making another, next time, offering it in html. I can code, I'm just too lazy.

Very true.
HTML would be great too (but more time consuming to do).

Hmm.... the color swaths are very beautiful. I think it's almost still a bit too abstract, IMHO, but it's still very pretty.

Mmmm I really like this piece with the light colors, makes me think of an icy cave somewhere you know? Somewhere I'd love to go right about now.

It's smouldering down here in Georgia. I'm afraid I'll burn up before the summer is done with, being from Canada this hot weather and I don't get along.

Thanks, glad you like it.
