Description
Hi,This is a shot from my 2009 calendar. Links can be found at [link] Have 2 versions due to the fluctuating exchange rates.
Each calendar features art nude imagery combined with empowered thoughts. I believe that the female nude can be so empowering if it is presented with style , passion and grace.

Ah this one is superb, would love to see more of these 'au naturale' shots in your particular photographic style.

I'm not sure you'll get your empowering message across if you make those typical nudes capturing women from the neck down. Let's be honest, it's hard to see more in this than jerking material for guys. Maybe if you write something on the model's body, or make her strike a symbolic pose, it will get the male audience to think about the meaning of your pictures.

Take your point. However the calendar had writing on each page and my normal deviant images also have writing accompanying them.It is very important to reach also the men who are lustful. Doubt that they will view or read anything unless it is connected to an attractive woman. Granted many may just jerk off but even if a few go deeper then I will have achieved something.

Don't worry about them not getting aroused when the naked model is doing something original ^_~
But hey, what about finding a way to hide the model's face (if necessary) without cutting off the head? A mask with your trademark or something? I'm affraid that as long as your pictures show headless naked bodies, it will hardly stop resembling those pieces of female nudity thrown in the internet for male pleasure and nothing more...
Good luck,
Angie

Hi Angie,
I think that faces can enhance the empowerment of a female nude image. However I also beleive that a body crop shot emanates an energy without a face being shown. I guess what you are saying is that when a man sees a naked body crop that this has them feel one type of energy. For a man who reacts to the shot from his conditioning I agree 100%. However if the man is open to his senses then he will get a different reaction to my nude crops.Perhaps we also have a different view of male pleasure. I do not see that a man who lusts is actually in real pleasure. He is more in his mind than in his senses. However to my mind the sight of a beautiful nude female body presented with beauty in mind is an empowering pleasure. These sort of images that bring this sort of pleasure are in my opinion a positive for men and women. Any negativity arising from such images to me is coming from conditioning not from the image itself. Very complex topic but also a very important one that I research deeply and regularly. In general I beleive that attractive women and how they are presented and viewed is a great negative in society. However I beleive the best way to turn a negative into a positive is to educate rather than censor.
Best Wishes Tony.

Why all the hostility E? It is possible for a man to enjoy the pure form of a womans body, it's natural structure and perfection from the perspective of art and not feel the need to "jerk" on anything. How stereotypical can you be?
This is a picture of a womans torso...not her face. I think the guy who took the picture (the artist) decides what he wants us to see, right? It's called expression and it's what makes his work unique. Does someone tell you what your "art" is?
All social hang ups aside, there's also no reason men shouldn't aknowledge the natural arousal that occures when we encounter images such as these. We are who we are, viseral, visual creatures. It is nature that made us this way and has given us that response to the female form. We are different from women. It's in our DNA. We dont just switch it on at puberty and let it lead us around the rest of our lives as she suggests, nor are we able to just shut it off. Denying nature is what brings about abhorrent behavior, it's a fact. It's what you do with that response that is a reflection of our civility, humanity and culture.
These are beautiful images even without the face...We need more beauty like this in the world.
Maybe if she had a little broader and realistic opinion of men and what and how we think, how an artist chooses to crop their work wouldnt matter so much.
