This is a shot from one of my fitness calendars '
umped Up Down Under'. I have produced these since 1989 and the idea is to present beautiful looking and fit women in empowering scenes. Very rarel have models look at the camera as I like the shot to look like the model is not even aware of a camera being there.To view my new 2009 online calendar please go to [link] Have 2 versions due to the fluctuating exchange rates.
Each calendar features art nude imagery combined with empowered thoughts. I believe that the female nude can be so empowering if it is presented with style , passion and grace.

I've had a blue wallpaper with this photograph and a big wave in the background, probably you have seen it around in the Internet. It's really nice to see the original work. By the way, what's the name of the woman? is she a professional surfer? I'm just curious.

Not sure about the wallpaper. perhaps someone has sent this round without my knowing. The model is Erin. She is a professional dirt bike rider.

Erin is a pro bike rider but you shot her surfing? that's interesting, why not shoot her biking? (I guess that been a professional photographer you just make the most of the moment). By the way, this is the wallpaper I was talking about: www.wallpaperhi.com/Sports/Wat⦠.

Thanks very much for the link. It looks good however i had not given permission for it. re the shot choice i felt that a surf shot was more in line with the calendar style than a bike shot.

I guess you can always ask to the web admin who was the artist or the uploader, though I think you hadn't suffer any kind of economical damage (correct me if I'm wrong on that) because the derivative digital art work is freely available (as the original B&W picture).
By the way, there's more pictures available of Erin? (of any kind).

Not bad. One thing comes to mind: If this is for a calendar of fit women, she should probably have a little more muscle on her. She is quite thin. Nevertheless, it's a nice shot.
