Description
This is a shot I took of a friend of mine many years ago. At the time she was so excited and her energy made the photographic process even more exciting for me than usual. She has always loved this first series of shots but had feared the judgment of others if they were ever to be posted online. Recently she has done much soul searching and is now a much more confident and secure woman. So it is exciting once again for me now to be able to share this image.www.leapoffaith.com.au

Once again, another great shot. Absolutely love the natural lighting as always. Glad to hear that her confidence is building. Low self image, whether it's inner or outer is never fun to go through. Hopefully this means she is up for shooting some more with you.

I have said it before - I will likely say it a thousand times more.
It never ceases to amaze me how women who look like this can be self-conscious about their looks and, for some strange reason, unsure of how others will perceive them.
I know the old adage about beauty being skin deep, too, but it is obvious that hers runs so much deeper. Glad she found her way to that knowledge.

It is a combination of a range of things. One is that the looks doesn't heal the inner insecurity. Hence people who are insecure worry about how others perceive them. Nudity in society is judged very harshly by some and this was affecting the model's perception of her own nude shots. Also she has had many men lust after her and then use and abuse which has added to a less than grateful connection to her own looks. Could mention other things but the main point being that nudity, women, attraction ect are all aspects of society that are in great need of deeper attention. Thanks for your continued support of my photography.

Unfortunately, I can totally grok the fullness of what you're saying here. Seen a few women despoiled in much the same way. Never could understand what drives someone to go out of their way to destroy beauty, but there are a sadly large number of men in this world who cannot seem to resist the urge.
My best to her, in any event. And, if it matters, tell her you know of at least one other man who would, under different circumstances, cherish her. Small consolation, no doubt, but I cannot be that much of an anomaly.
