I have used the model in this pic many times over the years in my photography business. She has also played a very important part in my life in general. We have been friends for around 10 years and she is as powerful emotionally as anyone I know. Her physical appearance is very unique and in this shot perhaps even intimidating in it's appearance of strength.

Dependant upon her mood her aura or personality can also be very intimidating. Whilst I trust Stacey and believe that she would do anything for me often I have felt emotionally intimidated by her. However when she is in her comfort zone and relaxed she is one of the most gentle and empowering people I have ever had the pleasure to spend time with.

I think her looks also mirror her moods at times. In this shot to me she looks like a warrior of sorts. Very focassed and determined and strong. At other times she can look so warm and open and the epitamy of empowered and graceful beauty.

Think in society we are so used to judging books by their covers. That we can become very quick to judge a person on appearances especially if the appearance is physically strong or physically beautiful. In my photography career I am continually learning that some of the most beautiful and strongest looking people have emotional power that mirrors their physical. Thus they may appear strong and confident but at times can feel very vulnerable. In these times their physical can be a mask to protect them.
