So, our Spelljamming crew got a new Druid npc, and I let the players design the character with suggestions for personality, look, etc. One of the players said "he has two pet mice that scurry over him, into his clothing, through his hair, etc, but it takes a while for you to notice that the mouse is made from plants". So I designed this Mouse leshy. Yeah, it's a bit green and purple and red, so I don't think it will be mistaken for a real mouse for very long... but that's okay. I like what I came up with. I figure it eats insects, so I made a mouth like a venus fly trap (those aren't teeth that could hurt a person, they are just the stiffened plant material spines that create a cage fo rthe trapped insect... but it does give it a bit of a fierce look. Then I decided it had a venomous thorn on it's "tail" which it can use to stun prey to put into its "mouth" so it doesn't wiggle too much and try to escape.
