This is so random
I was watching ygo and duke showed up and I was like "wow! he's got dice hanging from his ears!" and then I just randomly drew this ^^

they didn't keep track of what crests they rolled very well at all. also, Dark Magician has no special attacks. just high stats.

...I just watched the recent episode of LittleKuriboh's YGO abridged series- episode 22, the one with Duke Devlin in it and... this is one of the best fanarts of him that I've seen *did a quick search after seeing [ LK's work ] this morning*
so could I please have your permission to digitally ink and CG this or at least vector this work of yours? *will give credit* *on a fangirl-ish high...*

...silly me, in my haste I forgot to say a lot of things in my last comment =_=;
-I changed some stuff from your original sketch (and went through a lot in doing so, hence that's why it took me so long to actually post my inks on DA*) because I wanted to incorporate my style as well and not merely trace your lines... this is quite apparent since I changed the way the neclace appears entirely
I thought that the piece needed some motion and though his pendant is really intricate/complicated it's a nice piece of jewelry that could use some showing off- so in my piece it is swinging through the air (which is appropriate because Devlin looks like he's turned back to look at the viewer...)
-also... I had a really hard time with the hair and it shows TAT!!

*I'm serious about that- I used so much of my reference (like 6 pictures originally and afterwards made three more screenshots in the progress since the first batch I had wasn't sufficient) for that detailed pendant
...it isn't as nice as I wanted it to be, but I tried (and what is that thing supposed to be anyway? I thought it was a skull the first few times that I saw it but it doesn't have any eye sockets or a jaw with teeth on it o.o??? )

-well, it isn't as finished as I'd like it to be (read: Polished and refined) but [ here it is].
I'll see about really finishing it off in the future with a nice color version, but this should suffice for now (-uh... by the way, would it be okay for other people to color this? I want to let people do that with this but you are the one who provided the original sketch- if you say yes, I'll edit the deviation and let it be downloaded so people can color it too~ <3 )
