I just thought of a cameo that will definitely not happen in Space Jam: A New Legacy, but would completely surprising if it did: some of the animals from the obscure 80's Olympics special, Animalympics, which Warner Bros later bought the rights to, or so I've heard.

Yes, scarcely a small number of people on the Internet remember this special, but it would have been awesome if some of the writers if this sequel actually remembered and decided to squeeze in fly-over-kids'-heads cameos of select animals from this special as spectators and/or reporters of the Tune Squad's next game (despite most being athletes themselves).

So yeah, this is all useless wishful thinking of a very unlikely cameo that's obviously not going to happen, but there's always the choice of making an alternate fanfiction version of the sequel. But with all the fan art of different cartoon characters in Tune Squad jerseys that keep coming and coming, I would love to see these animals get that fan art as well.

Let's just hope that we'll at least see Penelope and Marvin on the team as XBOX advertised towards us.
