Description
Thank You: Thank you all very much for over 1,000 views and over 100 favorites. I really appreciate all the kind comments and all of you coming together to remember Steve with me.Please do not disrespect my deviation by making ridiculous and blatant insults or disrespectful comments toward Steve Irwin, the things he did, or toward me. This deviation is meant to bring people together so that they may reflect upon a great man.
Steve Irwin died on September 03, 2006. He was filming a documentary near the Great Barrier Reef when a sting ray pierced him in the heart with it's poisonous barbs. Emergency crews declared him dead on the scene. Irwin is survived by his wife and two children.
This is my personal tribute to the Croc Hunter. He was a great man who put a lot of devotion into animals and earth. He will be sorely missed.
Note: If I put this in the wrong catagory, then please let me know.

EDIT: I've moved this deviation to scraps. I'll still keep it as my featured deviation. However, I think this is clogging up my real gallery. All my stats are pointed toward this picture, and it's not really my art. So, I'm moving it to scraps with sadness. However, this will not change the true meaning of the picture or how I feel about it. Thank you.

I remember watching his show when I was younger. You know what would've made him more awesome, though?
If he pinned a crocodile and punched it in the teeth.

I truly respect this honorable man... I cried while watching the documentary of him filming the Movie... the part when Bindy is calling out for him to be careful... I looked over at my dad and started bawling... and when he died... all I could think was "his poor family... poor Bindy... Robert... Terry..."
He is sorely missed by many people...
RIP Steve Irwin
You will be missed

I can't believe it was two years ago he died. I think he was a great man. I looked up to him, and wanted to share the same love for all animals as he.
Well, I guess he's in a better place now...as long as he's got all the animals he needs to love

I loved that crazy guy! And I still think he's awesome, hopefully he's having fun in the great beyond, maybe exploring the species that are now extinct, like the dodo bird or the sabertooth. That would be a fitting afterlife, sounds kinda fun too.

He truly did love animals, he might seemed a little nutty with what he was doing, but hey, he was doing what he loved and he died accidentially doing what he loves...*hangs head in rememberance* May his passion and work live on through his daughter, Bindie...I think I spelled it right.

Well I'm an incoming College freshman and I did hear that it was tough, but very fulfilling. And loads of job offers after graduation, so you get to help the environment AND make a living. Two birds with one stone.
Looking forward to it.
